A small, beautiful temple my roommate and I came upon in the Arashiyama district. It's Nichiren Buddhist, but I was so unbelievably excited to find a Shinto gate and omikuji (Shinto fortune tellers) on the grounds of this temple. It's the first temple I've been to that is without a doubt syncretist. And it was so beautiful!
There is something really romantic about the purple weeping willow sakura trees.
